On Thursday 21st February 2019 a meeting took place in the Gauge Museum between Matt Sutton, Helen Anson [Gauge Museum’s Educational Officer] and Catherine Dance [WSRA Community Engagement Officer] to discuss ways in which the layout could play a part in future educational and community projects that are being developed.

The team of operators, Helen and Catherine are looking at ways to promote the Trust and the WSR to others and hopefully encourage more people to volunteer.

Following lunch more work was carried out at the entrance end of the layout including a new pine wood. Some repainting of fences on the trackside, more tree replacement work was also carried out.
