If you are visiting Bishops Lydeard on Somerset Day this year, don’t forget to join us in the Gauge Museum on Platform One for some family fun! Based around the concept of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) we are planning to offer a range of exciting activities to help you learn more about both the historical and engineering past of the railway.

The museum is free to enter and, in addition to our family learning activities, we also offer an exciting collection of objects celebrating the glorious past of the WSR including our beautiful 1890s sleeper Carriage, reproduction signal box and working model railway.
